Do you want to show off your Instagram photos on your blog? Of course you do. Conneting your Instagram to your blog is not just practical, it's makes your blog look even better, too. Your followers can easily find your Instagram, but it also gives a nice and personal touch to your blog's design.
The difference between connecting and linking your Instagram
Many of you e-mail us and ask about the difference between connecting and linking your Instagram in your blog. Let us explain! When you link your Instagram you simply add a link to your profile in the Follow me module or an icon in your Top menu.
When you connect your Instagram account via the Instagram module, you sync your Instagram photos to your blog. It's only when you've connected your Instagram account via the Instagram module that you can be seen on the Instagram toplist. Adding a link to your Instagram isn't enough for this.
How to connect your Instagram to your blog:
1. Start by adding a module for Instagram in your blog. Go to Your blog / Design / Modules
2. Choose if you want your module at the top, bottom or side of your blog by dragging it there
3. After you've done that, you need to connect your Instagram account to the module. Click on the module, then click on "Click here to connect" in the left side menu
Now and again Instagram wants you to re-connect your Instagram account to the module. To do that, you go to the very same place as when you first connected your account. When to re-connect you'll get a message on your Statistics page.
When you've added your Instagram module, click on it and then "Click here to connect"
